Adapting Wherever You Are… Even While Hiking the Appalachian Trail with Jeremy Scroggins

Adaptability…

I remember deciding to have this conversation around being adaptable and what that looks like in our lives, but when I sat down to talk to Jeremy about hiking the Appalachian Trail, it took on a whole new meaning.

What kind of person willingly takes off six months of their lives to hike over 2000 miles… Jeremy Scroggins, AKA Timber.

I might be a little biased, but this is one of the most interesting and fun conversations I’ve ever had with a human. I hope you enjoy it as much as we obviously did.

We originally had this conversation in 2017.

Right now, this is the adventure.

About Jeremy Scroggins

Jeremy Scroggins

Jeremy Scroggins is the best human on the planet. Yep, I get to say whatever I want – it’s my show!

But seriously, besides being the most amazing husband, Jeremy Scroggins finished the Appalachian Trail after six months and 10 days in September 2013. He is also an English and Creative Writing graduate of UT Austin and has a knack for uncovering, cleaning up, and showcasing the earth’s forgotten treasures. He’s currently the VP of the AMDC (Austin Metal Detecting Club) and a video editing and production specialist at Treaty Oak Distilling. Jeremy lives with me and our children (our cat children) in Texas.
